Here’s the agenda for our topics this year:

The Power of a Broken Heart, Robbie Parker

Robbie Parker is the father of Emilie Parker, one of the children killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.  He is a Physician Assistant in the Oregon Health Science University NICU. 

Through personal and professional l life Robbie has witnessed trauma and heartbreak, and given and received heartbreaking news about the death of a child.  He’s learned that through the incidents are unique, feelings associated with trauma and heartbreak relate to everyone.  With engaging personality and empathy his message of a broken heart is not only about loss and despair but power that can lead to hope and healing.
